Recently I came to a situation where I could not get the football jigs in the colors I wanted.  I had only a few days until my Old Hickory tournament. So I decided to get some skirts and hand tie some jigs for myself.  I am pretty happy how they turned out.  I used Green pumkin candy, watermelons and purples.  I won the tournament with these jigs.  I hand tied them with some thread after I came up with the pattern I wanted.  I have been using them for 2 weeks now and have not had a single skirt come apart or off the shank of the jig.
